❓ Snowmobile LED Headlight FAQs
Color temperature in Kelvins (K) refers to the light’s tone. LEDPowersport kits deliver 6000–6500 K, giving a bright white light with a slight blue tint—ideal for night trail riding.
- 4000 K: warmer yellow tone (like halogens)
- 8000 K: bluish tone, can reduce visibility
Lumens (LM) measure total brightness. Our High Power Series delivers up to 13,000 lumens per bulb for clear, focused trail visibility.
- More lumens = brighter output
- But beam control matters just as much
No. Our LEDs have internal fans and heat sinks that often run warmer than halogens—helping prevent snow or ice buildup on headlight lenses.
No—when properly aimed. Our beam patterns are designed to focus light on the trail, not in others’ eyes.
- Misalignment causes glare, not the bulb itself
- HIDs usually cause more blinding than LEDs
Yes—if your sled is listed in our Fitment Guide. Most Ski-Doo models (DC) work right away. Polaris and Arctic Cat (AC) may require a rectifier or CANbus driver.
Contact us if you’re unsure about your system.
Yes! All kits plug directly into your stock wiring—no cutting needed. Some sleds may need:
- Trimming of rubber boot for fitment
- A rectifier or CANbus driver (for AC systems)
If it doesn’t work out of the box, contact us and we’ll help.
