Refund Policy & Lifetime Warranty

No Returns on LED Products

LEDPowersport® does not accept returns on LED products.

Due to the nature of our products, all LED sales are final. Opened, handled, or installed LEDs cannot be returned for refunds, exchanges, store credit, or credit toward another LED product, regardless of the reason.

This includes customers who later decide they want a brighter set or a dimmer set. LEDs cannot be resold once they have been shipped because previously handled or installed LEDs may be damaged or contaminated by hand oils that can cause premature failure.

If LEDPowersport® shipped the wrong item or made an error with your order, we will make it right by replacing the product or sending the correct item.

Important Handling Requirement

Gloves (nitrile, latex, or rubber) must be worn at all times when handling or installing LEDs, CANBUS modules, wiring components, locking clips, collars, and related components.

Failure to wear gloves or improper installation voids all warranties, expressed or implied. Handling bulbs by the fan, ballast, or attempting to avoid touching the LED chips or electrical connections does not satisfy this requirement.

Please Note: Handling LEDs without gloves voids all exchanges, replacements, and warranty coverage, even if the product is later claimed to be incorrect or does not fit the application.

Reporting Deadlines

All defective LEDs, damaged-on-arrival claims, incorrect item claims, non-fitting LED claims, or any other product issues must be reported within the following timeframes:

  • United States Orders: Within 5 days of tracking showing delivery.
  • International Orders: Within 2 days of tracking showing delivery.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

Claims reported after these deadlines will not qualify for replacement or refund unless otherwise stated in this policy. Warranty shipping and processing fees may apply after these reporting periods where warranty coverage otherwise exists.

Lifetime Replacement Warranty

Most LEDPowersport® LED Headlight Kits include a Lifetime Replacement Warranty.

This means LEDPowersport® may replace a failed or defective LED with the same or a comparable product. Buyers are responsible for all applicable warranty shipping and processing fees.

Rectifiers are not included in the Lifetime Warranty.

Most products sold by LEDPowersport® also include their respective manufacturer warranties where applicable.

At our discretion, LEDPowersport® will replace LEDs determined by LEDPowersport® to have failed due to a manufacturing defect.

We reserve the right to require photographs, diagnostic information, or return of the product for inspection before approving any warranty claim.

Submission of a warranty claim does not constitute approval of the claim. No warranty claim shall be considered approved until it has been reviewed and expressly approved in writing by LEDPowersport®. LEDPowersport® reserves the sole right to approve or deny any warranty claim based on compliance with this policy and the results of its review.

If we suspect misuse of our warranty program, return policy, missing-item claims, or any other claim process, we reserve the right to deny the claim and/or require additional proof.

LEDPowersport® reserves the right to permanently deny future warranty coverage to any customer found to have submitted false, fraudulent, misleading, or abusive warranty claims.

Lifetime Warranty Limitations

Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty coverage does not apply to failures caused by:

  • Vehicle or machine electrical issues
  • Improper installation
  • Failure to wear required gloves
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Accidents
  • Water intrusion
  • Impact damage
  • Modifications
  • Incorrect voltage
  • Voltage spikes
  • Improper grounding
  • Incorrect polarity
  • Charging system faults
  • Stator failures
  • Regulator/rectifier failures
  • Wiring defects
  • Any other external cause unrelated to a manufacturing defect

The Lifetime Warranty is intended to cover manufacturing defects only. It does not provide unlimited replacements for repeated failures caused by unresolved vehicle or machine issues.

Repeated failures of replacement products under substantially the same operating conditions may be considered evidence of an underlying vehicle or machine issue rather than a manufacturing defect and are not eligible for continued warranty replacement.

LEDPowersport® reserves the right to inspect products, request diagnostic information, and approve or deny any warranty claim based on the reported failure and compliance with this warranty policy.

Warranty replacements do not create a new warranty and remain subject to the terms and conditions of the original purchase.

Any warranty replacement provided under this Limited Lifetime Warranty is a continuation of the original warranty coverage only. Warranty replacements do not extend, renew, restart, or create a new warranty period and remain subject to all original warranty terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions.

Discontinued Products: The Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only while replacement inventory of the original product remains available. Once a product has been discontinued and replacement inventory has been exhausted, warranty coverage for that product immediately terminates. LEDPowersport® has no obligation to manufacture discontinued products, source discontinued products, provide substitute products, or replace discontinued products with newer, upgraded, higher-value, or different products.

Warranty Eligibility

Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser.

All warranty requests must include:

  • Original order number
  • Original purchaser's first and last name
  • Email address used at checkout

Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

LEDPowersport® reserves the right to request additional documentation or proof of purchase at any time. Failure to provide requested documentation may result in denial of the claim.

Warranty requests submitted by third parties or from any email address other than the original email used at checkout will not be processed.

For security reasons, LEDPowersport® will only respond to return, refund, cancellation, or warranty requests submitted by the original purchaser using the email address associated with the original order.

Messages submitted by any other person or email address will not receive a response.

The LEDPowersport® Lifetime Warranty applies only to products purchased directly through the official LEDPowersport® website (www.ledpowersport.com).

Products purchased through third-party marketplaces, resellers, auction platforms, or sellers including eBay are not eligible for Lifetime Warranty coverage.

Original Packaging Requirement: Original LEDPowersport® product packaging, including all original warranty stickers, labels, serial labels (if applicable), and identifying markings, is a required component of the product for warranty verification. Customers must retain the original packaging for the duration of the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Warranty claims submitted without the original packaging, required warranty stickers, labels, or identifying markings, or where such items are missing, altered, damaged, or illegible, will be denied.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, LEDPowersport® does not accept returns on LED products.

Opened, handled, or installed LEDs cannot be returned for refunds, exchanges, or store credit, regardless of the reason.

This includes requests to exchange previously purchased LEDs for brighter, dimmer, or different products.

LED products cannot be resold after shipment because previously handled or installed LEDs may have sustained damage or contamination from hand oils that can cause premature failure.

If LEDPowersport® shipped the incorrect item or made an error with your order, we will correct the mistake by replacing the product or sending the correct item.

Discounted items, sale items, and all electrical components including LED products are final sale.

Sale-priced and discounted items are sold as-is and do not include warranty coverage.

In the rare event that LEDPowersport® approves a return, a 30% deduction for original shipping and restocking will apply. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Incorrect Orders

Customers are responsible for ordering the correct LED kit for their specific year, make, model, engine size, and application.

LEDPowersport® is not responsible for customer ordering errors.

No returns, refunds, replacements, or exchanges will be provided for products ordered incorrectly by the customer.

If you are unsure which product fits your machine, please contact us before placing your order.

Electrical Requirements

Failure to purchase and properly install the required rectifier (where applicable) voids all warranties, expressed or implied.

LEDs damaged due to incorrect electrical setup—including operation without the proper rectifier—are not eligible for return, refund, or replacement.

Products damaged by abnormal voltage, voltage spikes, improper grounding, incorrect polarity, charging-system faults, stator failures, regulator/rectifier failures, wiring defects, or any other vehicle electrical fault are not covered under warranty.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or non-working product, please contact LEDPowersport® within the required reporting period.

  • United States: Within 5 days of delivery.
  • International: Within 2 days of delivery.

Damage occurring during installation is not covered under warranty regardless of when it is reported.

All applicable warranty shipping and processing fees will apply to replacement products where applicable.

Warranty Shipping & Processing Fees

All approved warranty claims require payment of applicable shipping and processing fees.

  • Standard Warranty Claims: Usually $25 (may vary depending on product)
  • High Output Kits: $35 per pair
  • High Power Series: $45 per pair
  • 120-Watt Products: $45 per pair

International and Canadian warranty replacements require an additional shipping charge in addition to the warranty processing fee. Shipping charges vary by destination.

High Power Series & 120-Watt Products

Due to the cost and complexity of these products, LEDPowersport® recommends professional installation.

LEDPowersport® is not responsible for failures caused by improper installation, personal installation attempts, failure to follow installation procedures, failure to wear gloves, or hand oils causing LED chipsets to burn out prematurely.

No Exceptions.

International Orders

Due to the cost of processing and shipping international orders, all international sales are final.

No returns or refunds are accepted on international orders.

Please verify your order carefully before purchasing.

International damaged-on-arrival claims, defective LED claims, incorrect item claims, or other order issues must be reported within 2 days of tracking showing delivery.

Products may be required to be returned to LEDPowersport® for inspection. All return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.

Shipping insurance must be purchased on all international orders. If shipping insurance was not purchased, replacement products will not be provided.

All replacement shipping charges and warranty processing fees for international orders are the responsibility of the buyer.

No Exceptions.

Support Request & Claim Closure Policy

All support requests, warranty claims, return inquiries, and order-related claims require a timely customer response in order to remain active.

If requested information is not provided, or no response is received within 7 days, the request will be considered closed due to non-response.

Closed requests are final and will not be reopened.

LEDPowersport® does not process returns, refunds, replacements, or partial credits on inactive or abandoned claims.

Any request for a partial refund or adjustment must be part of an active, verified claim.

Requests submitted after a claim has been closed, or without completing the original support process, are not eligible for review.

Shipping Loss, Delays & Carrier Responsibility

LEDPowersport LLC and/or its owners are not responsible for lost packages, damaged packages, or delivery delays caused by any postal carrier.

We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance on all packages.

Shipping insurance is optional unless otherwise stated within this policy. Buyers requesting insurance are responsible for the additional cost.

LEDPowersport® makes no guarantees regarding carrier delivery times once a shipment leaves our possession.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Postal service delays
  • Carrier delays
  • Weather
  • National or international strikes
  • Customs processing
  • Other events outside our control

Once an order has shipped, we cannot recall the package, speed up delivery, or control carrier performance.

Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled or refunded because of shipping delays, carrier delays, strikes, or lost shipments.

Customers who require faster delivery should purchase an upgraded shipping service and shipping insurance before shipment.

Lost shipments may be replaced solely at LEDPowersport®'s discretion.

Shipping Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address during checkout.

If an incorrect address is provided and the package is lost, misdelivered, returned, or delivered to the wrong location because of customer error, LEDPowersport® is not responsible for replacing the shipment.

Please verify your shipping information carefully before completing checkout.

Non-Refundable Shipping Fees

All shipping fees paid by the customer or incurred by LEDPowersport® are strictly non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Shipping charges
  • Carrier surcharges
  • Handling fees
  • Priority Mail
  • Express Mail
  • Signature Confirmation
  • Shipping insurance
  • Any upgraded shipping service

Once an order has shipped, no shipping fee or upgraded shipping service will be refunded under any circumstance, including cancellation requests or carrier delays.

Refused, Returned & Unclaimed Shipments

Shipments refused, abandoned, unclaimed, or returned because of an incorrect address or failure to collect are not eligible for refund.

Returned shipments may be subject to return shipping charges and restocking fees.

Customer Service Communication

All warranty, technical support, refund, cancellation, return, and order inquiries must be submitted by email to:

Phone calls, text messages, social media messages, and voicemails are not monitored for technical support or warranty claims.

Customers contacting us by other methods will be directed back to our customer service email.

All customer communication must remain within the original email thread associated with the order.

For documentation, tracking, and security purposes, LEDPowersport® will not monitor or respond to new email chains regarding existing orders.

Technical Support Policy

LEDPowersport® provides complimentary technical support for the initial installation and setup of products within a reasonable period following delivery.

Requests submitted long after delivery, after extended periods of non-use, or involving repeated consultation regarding the same issue may fall outside the scope of complimentary technical support.

Technical support does not include indefinite troubleshooting, ongoing consultation, or repeated diagnosis of normal operating characteristics.

For safety, liability, and compatibility reasons, LEDPowersport® provides technical, wiring, electrical, and installation support only for products sold directly by LEDPowersport®.

We do not provide support for third-party or competitor products.

Customer Conduct & Communication Policy

LEDPowersport® is committed to providing professional and respectful customer service.

We reserve the right to pause or discontinue communication involving:

  • Harassing, abusive, or threatening language
  • Communications that are no longer solution-oriented
  • Repeated messages restating the same concern after a response has already been provided

When this occurs, our previous responses and published policies shall constitute our final position on the matter.

Limitation of Liability

LEDPowersport LLC and/or its owners are not responsible for improper installation, improper use, misuse, modification, or operation of any product sold.

LEDPowersport LLC and/or its owners are not responsible for any damages, losses, injuries, or other results arising from the installation, use, misuse, or operation of products sold.

By purchasing from LEDPowersport®, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy, Lifetime Warranty, and all terms and conditions contained herein.
