Upgrade compatible 2003–2018 Ski-Doo snowmobiles from halogen headlights to LED with a LEDPowersport® snowmobile LED headlight kit. This complete kit includes two LED headlight bulbs—enough to upgrade one compatible sled.

Ski-Doo LED Headlight Fitment

Designed for compatible 2003–2018 Ski-Doo snowmobiles using replaceable H4-style headlight bulbs, including applications within the following chassis families:

• Ski-Doo XU

Important: This kit does not fit Ski-Doo Gen 4 (G4) applications that use a different headlight/bulb configuration. Verify your year, model, and original bulb configuration before ordering.

Are These Ski-Doo LED Headlights Plug and Play?

Yes, on compatible applications. Remove the original halogen headlight bulbs, install the LEDPowersport® LED bulbs, and connect them to the factory headlight connectors. No cutting or splicing of the factory wiring is required.

Do I Need H4X CANbus Drivers?

Some Ski-Doo REV applications may experience an electrical compatibility issue after converting from halogen to LED. If you experience problems switching correctly between high and low beam, an incorrect high-beam indicator, or related high/low beam operation issues, LEDPowersport® H4X CANbus drivers can be purchased separately and installed with the LED headlight kit.

The H4X CANbus drivers are intended to address compatible high/low beam and indicator-related issues. They are not a substitute for an AC-to-DC rectifier when the headlight circuit supplies AC power.

Do I Need H4X Rectifiers?

If your Ski-Doo supplies AC power at the headlight connector, H4X rectifiers are required to convert the headlight power from AC to DC before it reaches the LED bulbs.

Check the electrical output at the headlight connector if you are unsure whether your sled supplies AC or DC power. LEDs requiring DC power should not be operated directly from an AC headlight circuit.

CANbus Driver vs. Rectifier: What's the Difference?

H4X CANbus Driver: Used on compatible applications to address issues such as improper high/low beam switching or high-beam indicator behavior after installing LEDs.

H4X Rectifier: Used when the snowmobile supplies AC power at the headlight connector. The rectifier converts AC power to DC power for the LED headlights.

Do LED Snowmobile Headlights Ice Up?

This is a common question when converting a snowmobile from halogen headlights to LEDs. Based on our own real-world use, the LED headlights we sell have not experienced more headlight-lens icing than the halogen bulbs they replaced.

We personally use LEDPowersport® LEDs on our own snowmobiles and have accumulated thousands of miles of testing in varying winter riding conditions over many years.
